Pharmacology lectures and seminares for the English speaking Dental students
of the 3th year. First (winter) semester –2017/2018.

L: Pharmacokinetics II - drug elimination and its clinical significance. + S: Prescriptions I - (Brand name drugs), AISLP (automated information system for pharmaceutical preparations).

L: Pharmacodynamics, mechanisms of drug action system and side effects of drugs. + S: Prescriptions II -compounded prescriptions prepared by the pharmacist (magisterial prescriptions).

L: Drugs affecting autonomic nervous system, sympathomimetics, sympatholytics. + S: Clinical implications of pharmacokinetic analyses,

L: Neuroleptics, antidepressants, antimanics, possible pharmacological intervention in neurodegenerative diseases. + S: Drug interactions and clinical significance, drug poisoning.

L: Pharmacology of pain; nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, opioid analgesics. + S: Antiparkinsonic. TEST on pharmacodynamics.

L: Drugs used in heart failure, diuretics, drugs used in angina pectoris. + S: Neuroleptics (pharmacotherapy of schizophrenia)

FREE DAY - Replacement will be discussedL: Drugs acting on the coagulation, platelet adhesion and fibrinolysis. Drug used in anemias; hematopoietic growth factors. Antiarrhytmics. + S: Students´ seminar on a given topic, (examples from NAISD´s and local anaesthetics). TEST on ANS.
