 1.     Basic principles of drug prescription.

 

 2.     Prescriptions I – (Brand name drugs), AISLP (automated information  

         system  for pharmaceutical preparations).

 

 3.     Prescriptions II – compounded prescriptions prepared by the pharmacist (magisterial prescriptions).

 

4.      Clinical implications of pharmacokinetic analyses, computer simulations.   

   

5.      Molecular mechanism of drug action-  computer simulations. TEST on prescription writing.

 

6.      Biotransformation of drugs – significance of enzyme induction and         

         inhibition; computer simulations.

 

7.      Metabolism of drugs – pharmacogenetics; computer simulations. TEST      

         on pharmacokinetics.

 

8.      Drug interactions and clinical significance, drug poisoning.

 

9.      Antiparkinsonics; computer simulations. TEST on pharmacodynamics.

 

10.    H1 and H2 antihistamines – therapeutic uses of autacoids.

 

11.    Ethanol and other drugs of abuse; drug dependence, computer

         simulation.

 

12.    Neuroleptics (pharmacotherapy of schizophrenia - computer simulation).            

                                        

13.    Students’ seminar on a given topic, (examples from NAISD’s and local anaesthetics)- TEST on ANS.

14.   Pharmacology of bronchial asthma-computer simulation.

 

15.     Repetition of selected topic(s) in pharmacology- credit.
