• Study of the neuroprotective effect of different drugs during therapeutic hypothermia in the Rice- Vannucci rat model of hypoxic-ischemic brain injury
• Study of modulators of key signaling molecules as potential drugs in an experimental model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and steatohepatitis (NAFLD/NASH, MASLD/MASH)
• Animal models of various diseases (eg rodent acute liver failure, drug-induced hepatotoxicity, hyperbilirubinemia in Gunn rats, autoimmune-induced encephalomyelitis)
• Primary hepatocyte and adipocyte cell cultures
• In vitro testing of potentially anti-inflammatory drugs on PBMC cultures
• Preclinical pharmacokinetics
• Investigations on common molecular mechanisms of extensively studied medicinal plants' active constituents with hepatoprotective properties with focus on the role of SIRT1 and AMPK
• Pharmaco -/ toxico -logical applications of laboratory-scale hepatocyte bioreactors
• Reactivity and morphology of native and cryopreserved precision cut liver slices: apoptosis study
• Involvement of nitric oxide in beta₃ -induced cAMP -dependent adipocyte lipolysis
• Role of nitric oxide, intracellular Ca²⁺ or other molecules in in vitro and in vivo rat hepatotoxicity models

• 2024: Award of the Czech Society for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology CzMA JEP for the best original paper in the field of experimental pharmacology (corresponding and senior authorship)
• 2024: Award of the Scientia Foundation for the best postgraduate student publication at the 1^st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague (corresponding and senior authorship, supervisor)
